As a Patient Care Specialist at CHRISTUS Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. This position requires a high level of compassion, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including assisting with daily living activities, feeding, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist nurses and doctors with medical procedures, including dressing wounds and administering medications.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a patient care or healthcare support role.
Full-time position with a 7PM - 7AM work schedule.
