Job Title: Truck Technician - Advanced Mechanical and Electrical Repair Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Technician to join our team at Lake Ford. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing advanced mechanical and electrical repairs on truck and trailer equipment.


Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.


Key Responsibilities
  • Repair Estimates: Review repair orders, work orders, and body shop managers' estimates to identify required parts and ensure accurate estimates.
  • Advanced Repairs: Perform complex repairs, including welding, suspension, and framework adjustments, as well as electrical and mechanical repairs.
  • Quality Control: Road test vehicles to ensure quality repairs and maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills.
  • Team Leadership: Lead work of apprentice technicians and maintain ASE certifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Welding Experience: A plus or willingness to learn/train in welding, suspension, and framework repairs.
  • Certifications: ASE Certifications, such as Damage Analysis and Estimating, Mechanical and Electrical Components, Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair, and State Vehicle Inspector (preferred).
