Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and treat patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician
  • Conduct outpatient medical consultations, evaluations, and treatments
  • Order and interpret lab, radiology, and other diagnostic study results
  • Prescribe and refer patients for consultations when necessary
  • Answer emergency telephone calls and administer medications as needed
  • Complete patient notes and tasks in the electronic medical record
  • Perform patient physicals and provide health education to patients and families
  • Supervise and coordinate patient care and support staff within the clinic
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year clinical experience in Family Practice or Urgent Care required
  • Master's in Nursing
  • Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Current APRN licensure in Georgia
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration preferred
