Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Functional Safety Engineer to join our team at Onward Technologies Inc. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and reliability of automotive systems.

Experience Required:
2 to 8 years (maximum 10 years)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the ISO 26262 product development lifecycle, focusing on Parts 4, 5, and 6.
  • Develop and validate ISO 26262 work products.
  • Contribute to the development of Automotive Embedded Software.
  • Conduct safety-oriented analyses, including software Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Work with safety-critical systems, understanding general automotive ECUs, components, features, and operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Safety Software development.
  • Familiarity with modeling tools such as MagicDraw and Medini.
  • Proficiency in Model-Based Design tools like Matlab/Simulink.
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems and product development processes.
  • Experience in developing aerospace safety systems.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR standards and C/C++ programming.
  • Experience with Agile and V-Model software development methodologies.
