About the role Technical Leadership Position
We're looking for a talented Technical Leader to join our team at Exquisite Software. As a Technical Leader, you'll be responsible for driving innovation, developing strategies, and mentoring engineers to achieve company goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take charge of our engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

We're seeking someone with a strong engineering background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to empower our team to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or senior engineering role, focusing on mobile development.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and leading your reports, resources, and executing on the Exquisite Software engineering vision. This includes constant recruiting, mentoring, and developing individuals on your team. You'll also communicate with account managers, business analysts, consultants, system architects, and clients to ensure project scopes are clearly documented and translated requirements to engineering teams.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

  • You will initially play an active role as a lead software developer until the engineering team is self-sustainable and properly trained according to the standards we create together.
  • Manage and lead your reports and resources to execute on the Exquisite Software engineering vision.
  • Communicate with Account Managers, Business Analysts, Consultants, System Architects and Clients' to ensure that project scopes are clearly documented and providing clear communicated and translating requirements to engineering teams.
  • Translating requirements into Jira epics, stories, tasks, subtasks, and bugs, prioritization and management of sprints, creation of reports, and to work with the team to create accurate estimates of the Jira issues.

Job Requirements:
Minimum 7 years software engineering experience.
Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership or senior engineering role with a focus on mobile development.
Minimum of 2 years experience using Scrum methodology and Jira and Confluence or other project management software.
Have worked as an integral member of the development team collaborating with product, engineering, and other business units by designing and developing highly scalable mobile applications on both Android and/or iOS.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and leading a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable mobile applications.
  • Developing and implementing technology roadmaps and architectural strategies that align with company goals.
  • Mentoring and coaching engineers to improve their skills and advance their careers.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
