Key Responsibilities- Lead the culinary team in the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs of our team members and guests.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and equipment are available.
- Collaborate with the Food Service Supervisor to plan and execute food service operations.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of food temperature logs, production records, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and tools are properly maintained and cleaned.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce food waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all team members and guests receive high-quality food and service.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Graduate of a culinary arts program or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position.
- Previous experience in a high-volume food service environment.
- Valid ServSafe Food Handler certificate.
- Valid driver's license.
- Valid U.S. Passport.
- Experience working in a remote or expeditionary environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
