Are you passionate about creating a nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop?

Albany Community Action Partnership (ACAP) is seeking a dedicated and caring Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will work with our youngest customers in a structured classroom setting, providing attention and care to help them learn and socialize through enriching play and activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing safe and developmentally appropriate learning environments, programs, and lesson plans using the Early Head Start and Care/Primary Caregiver models
  • Preparing lesson plans and completing assessments, program notes, and other necessary documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with all Early Head Start Standards and Office of Children & Services Day Care licensing regulations
  • Collaborating with families to develop positive relationships and ensure they receive quality education and support from ACAP and other community services

We offer a competitive salary of $18.78 per hour, Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week. Qualifications include an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 12 credits in ECE and one year of experience in infant/toddler care. Bi- or multi-lingual skills are a plus.
