Agricultural Lending Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Lending Specialist to join our team at Bank Iowa Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for generating quality agricultural and commercial loans, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting the bank's products and services.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The successful candidate will be based in one of our three locations in Oskaloosa, Pella, or Fremont, Iowa.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio with total outstanding balance of $25+ million.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ag and commercial clients, fostering business growth and client retention within the Southeast Iowa Region.
- Oversee ag and commercial lending activities including loan origination, underwriting, and portfolio management.
- Meet with clients to obtain information for loan applications and answer questions about the process.
- Work with clients to identify their financial goals and find ways to reach those goals.
- Develop relationships with various community and professional organizations to further enhance the bank's image and develop additional business.
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field with relevant work experience.
- Strong Agriculture background preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years lending and banking experience as an Ag & Commercial Loan Officer.
- Ideal candidates will have leadership experience as well as banking experience, credit analysis or underwriting experience, and/or proven sales experience.

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
