Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Framing Team Member to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our framing department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, creating custom framing solutions, and maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers on framing options and products.
  • Create custom framing solutions for customers, taking into account their specific needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the framing department and surrounding areas.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and display of framing products, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging store environment.
  • Process customer transactions, including cash handling and operating a cash register.
  • Participate in inventory management and restocking of framing products.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a framing or art department.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy boxes and frames, and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
