Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to lead our aluminum die cast manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative technical solutions to drive efficiency and quality in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues
  • Design and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment to meet business objectives
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of manufacturing issues
  • Develop and manage budgets and resource allocations to ensure successful project implementation
  • Test and evaluate new technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with relevant experience
  • 6 years of manufacturing experience required in lieu of a degree
  • Manufacturing co-op experience preferred but not required
  • Computer literate to support industry standard software applications
  • Positive attitude, open-minded, and team player
  • Strong self-motivation and desire to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Self-managed and able to provide and set direction for others to be successful
  • Demonstrates leadership capabilities
  • Demonstrates strong communication (verbal/written) skills
  • Ability to multi-task and solve complex problems
Working Conditions
  • Work in a production environment requiring PPE and lockout in manufacturing operations
  • Manufacturing environment with the potential of working near hydraulic oils, cutting lubricants, ferrous and aluminum materials
  • Hands-on investigation and troubleshooting within equipment to countermeasure issues and to determine improvement activity
  • Working with hand/power tools, automation equipment, quality gauging and instrumentation
  • 50% office environment/ 50% manufacturing lineside activity
  • 10-15 hours overtime per week possible
  • Possible weekend or off-shift support as necessary
  • Travel 5% (domestic & international)
