We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Transportation Ambassador to join our team at the Maryland Zoo. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional service to our guests while ensuring their safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely Transporting Guests: Operate company registered vehicles and equipment in compliance with all state driver's licensing requirements and zoo-wide safety policies.
  • Customer Service: Interact with guests in a consistently pleasant and helpful manner, providing information on zoo exhibits, activities, and services.
  • Maintenance of Vehicles and Equipment: Assist in maintaining accurate documentation, including daily checklists and maintenance logs.
  • Communication: Keep management informed of any issues that may occur during daily operations and respond appropriately to guest questions and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience/Training: Must be 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Working Conditions: Ability to stand and remain active for an eight-hour shift, walk large areas of the zoo, and work in various weather conditions.
