About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Psychiatric to join our team at McLean Hospital. This is an ongoing opportunity for a motivated individual to provide high-quality patient care while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Job DescriptionThis role will involve utilizing the nursing process to assess patients' needs, plan and implement effective nursing interventions, and evaluate their effectiveness. The successful candidate will also provide leadership and support to colleagues, contribute to the productivity and cost-effectiveness of the hospital, and maintain a commitment to professional growth and competency.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide and implement nursing care interventions to meet patients' physical and emotional needs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care interventions and make necessary adjustments
- Lead by example and promote a culture of excellence, respect, and compassion within the team
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments through ongoing education and training
To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred) and be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We also require one year of medical/psychiatric experience (preferably), basic computer skills, and the ability to complete electronic medical records training and achieve 80% accuracy on the competency test within 30 days of hire.

The estimated salary for this role is $**85,000 - $110,000 per annum**, based on relevant experience and location.
