We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Research Specialist to join our team at the US Department of Homeland Security. As an Intelligence Research Specialist, you will play a critical role in gathering and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and potential threats.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify significant trends, patterns, and potential threats.
- Prepare detailed and comprehensive intelligence reports and briefings.
- Present intelligence findings to senior officials and stakeholders.
- Conduct specialized research on specific topics or regions to support intelligence operations and policymaking.
- 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and working with others to share information and coordinate efforts.
- Experience conducting complex and in-depth analysis of intelligence data.
- Education: Successful completion of one year of full-time graduate education from an accredited college or university may substitute for the experience required at this level.
- Superior Academic Achievement (SAA): A bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) may also substitute for the experience required.
