Job Title: Intelligence Research Support Specialist II

Job Description:

Advantage SCI is seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Research Support Specialist II to support a federal agency security program. This position will conduct activities focusing on intelligence research and review, with a focus on identifying, assessing, and summarizing reporting and analysis from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and summarize reporting and analysis from various sources, including cybersecurity reports, classified materials, and open-source reporting.
  • Provide research and analysis support in the production of multi-source intelligence.
  • Evaluate unclassified information to understand threat, vulnerability, and incident reporting and analysis relevant to agency responsibilities.
  • Conduct basic research on a variety of topics.
  • Perform data entry and management.
  • Conduct liaison and coordination with other offices and outside agencies as required.
  • Assist in the coordination of administrative functions, including budget, personnel, meetings, and clerical duties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work that required dealing effectively with others.
  • Experience collecting, evaluating, and organizing pertinent facts, and analyzing and preparing clear and concise reports.
  • Proficient experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must possess a Top Secret security clearance.
  • A minimum age of twenty-one years.
  • Demonstrable proficiency and fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language, including the ability to construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports.
  • Demonstrate courtesy and respect, and impartial enforcement of directives.
  • Possess honesty, integrity, good judgment, courage, alertness, self-reliance.
  • Ability and skills to tactfully and positively interact with stakeholders while maintaining poise and self-control during stressful events and incidents.
  • Ability to demonstrate poise, self-confidence, and sound decision-making.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to understand and apply printed rules, directives, detailed orders, instructions, procedures, and training materials.
  • Be and remain drug-free for the duration of employment on the contract.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, run, and lift items weighing not exceeding 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach.
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, run.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
