Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in the Anoka, Minnesota area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation of speech therapy treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients, including individual and group sessions.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other members of the therapy team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license or certification in the state of Minnesota.
  • Experience with in a school setting is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with communication disorders preferred.
  • Experience working with AAC devices preferred.
