Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Manager to join our team at Leidos, Inc. as an IT Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering the Information System (IS) in accordance with internal and external security requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of analysts responsible for the day-to-day testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering cyber systems or networks and their infrastructure hardware and software.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with Configuration Management (CM) for security relevant IS software, hardware, and firmware, and maintain records for workstations, servers, software, routers, firewalls, network switches, and other relevant hardware/equipment throughout the information system's life cycle.
  • Security Education and Training: Lead and conduct security IS education and training, and mentor other engineers in the art of cybersecurity and secure software development practices.
  • Incident Response: Participate in internal/external security audits/inspections, perform risk assessments, and lead investigations of computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary to senior site leadership.
  • Program Management: Develop, implement, and manage a formal Information Security/Information Systems Security Program, and develop, implement, and enforce Information Security Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or Master's degree with 6-10 years of related experience.
  • Experience: 12-15 years of related experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or 6-10 years of related experience with a Master's degree.
  • Certifications: CISSP certification required within 6 months of hire, and active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Skills: Detailed understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST, ICD, and CNSS standards, familiarity with network technologies (LAN & WAN) and best practices within a classified environment, and working knowledge with Microsoft Windows operating systems (workstation & server), Linux, and system virtualization (multiple hypervisors) in a secure network environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Past Experience: Past or current ISSM/ISSO experience, and DoD IS knowledge and experience.
