We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Intake Specialist to join our team at The Pavilion Behavioral Health System. As a key member of our intake team, you will play a critical role in providing short-term assistance to individuals and families in crisis.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Triage: Conduct professional assessments and triage to determine the most appropriate treatment environment for each patient and/or family.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with licensed psychiatrists and other physicians to oversee triage and referral decisions.
  • Communication and Coordination: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field, or a Registered Professional Nurse (RPN) with a current and active license in the State of Illinois.
  • Experience: Preferred 2 years of experience in psychological and chemical dependency assessment.
