Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including verifying accuracy and labeling.
  • Utilize pharmacy management software to process prescriptions, maintain patient records, and manage inventory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff and external customers, answering telephones and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Support inventory management, including receiving and stocking medications and supplies, and rotating inventory to ensure oldest stock is utilized first.
  • Participate in quality assurance measures, including cleaning logs, equipment maintenance, and inventory management logs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and procedures, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
