About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Changeover Crew Member to join our Operations Changeover Team at Oak View Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless transition between events, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction, and upholding the company's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in all aspects of the conversion process for events, including setting up and tearing down flooring, chairs, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings and equipment.
  • Respond to promoter/client needs as directed, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
  • Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed to meet event schedules and project deadlines.
  • Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met, including loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas, and replenishing supplies.
  • Assist with pre/post event cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, and carpet cleaning.
  • Maintain outside grounds, including parking areas, garage, entrances, and event plaza, and perform snow removal as required.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, such as painting, patching, and other conversion-related operational equipment.
  • Follow oral and written instructions, communicate effectively in both oral and written form, and maintain an effective working relationship with other departments, clients, and patrons encountered in the course of employment.
  • Work effectively under pressure and stringent schedules to produce accurate results, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
Requirements
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.
  • Ability to work under deadlines dictated by event schedules and project timetables.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
  • Must be adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Working Conditions

This role requires extensive time spent with moderate to loud noises, frequent bending, lifting 50 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, standing for long periods of time, and extensive walking through the building.
