Medical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our clinical team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Medical Technician, you will work directly with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our CLIA certified mobile laboratory, providing patient care and gaining valuable experience in mobile healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Work under the supervision of licensed NP/PA providers to provide patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs, and other clinical tasks.
- Perform IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law), splint application, wound care, and other medical procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain point of care laboratory equipment, including EKGs and i-STAT devices.
- Assist NP/PAs in the daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit, including documentation and supply management.
- Medical Technician with IV Certification Basic Certification with NJ, EMT or CMA License (hiring credential only).
- Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a core science or lab science and experience using an i-STAT device are encouraged to apply.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, BLS certification, and high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, walk up and down several flights of stairs easily, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
