Job Title: Clinical Psychologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing individual, group, and crisis counseling services to students, as well as conducting clinical supervision and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Intake and Assessment: Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify students' needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Counseling Services: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, addressing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and guidance to students in need.
- Supervision and Training: Provide clinical supervision and training to junior staff members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality counseling services.
- Case Management: Develop and implement case management plans to support students' mental health needs, including referrals to external resources and services.
- Liaison and Outreach: Establish and maintain relationships with campus departments and community organizations to promote mental health awareness and provide resources to students.
Requirements:
- Education: PhD or PsyD in Psychology or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in clinical psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Licensure: Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with diverse populations, and experience with crisis intervention and case management.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, working 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing high-quality counseling services to students.
