Certified Medication Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Covenant Living. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing direct care.
Key Responsibilities:- Pass medications under the direction of a licensed nurse and provide direct care to residents to promote their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Follow facility policies and procedures for medication administration and resident care.
- Document resident care and medication administration accurately and timely.
- Report changes in resident condition to the nurse immediately.
- Participate in facility meetings and in-service training programs to stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Completion of an approved training program and passing competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
