Job Summary:

The Advanced Certified Medication Aide will be responsible for accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications and treatments under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient information and medication administration in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support patients with self-care and provide assistance as needed
  • Assist with planning and organizing activities and groups
  • Provide oversight and assistance with personal laundry and household tasks
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) certification with Glucose certification
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Food Handlers Permit
  • CPI/CPR Certification
  • Ability to pass state or federal background checks, pre-employment physical, and drug screen
