About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our Cardiology team at Ascension Saint Agnes in Baltimore, Maryland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled physician to provide medical services to patients and contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, coordinating discharge planning with case management.
  • Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
  • Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization.
  • Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
  • Provide accurate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal denials in a timely manner.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialty, including on-call schedules.
Requirements
  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association, preferred.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
