Position Overview:
System One is seeking a dedicated Metal Fabricator for a direct hire opportunity on the 1st shift. This role involves preparing metal components for assembly in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpret and execute layout drawings and Bills of Materials.
2. Utilize measuring instruments to accurately mark and cut holes on metal enclosures and backplates.
3. Operate various tools including drills, taps, punches, and saws to create necessary access points.
4. Assemble and label components for backplates.
5. Prepare metal enclosures for subsequent painting processes.
6. Assist in wiring tasks according to electrical schematics.

Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years in metalworking or a related field is essential.

Skills:
- Proficient in translating layout drawings into physical enclosures.
- Competent in using metal fabrication tools for precise hole creation.
- Basic knowledge of electrical components is beneficial.
- Familiarity with power tools such as drills, taps, punches, and saws.
- Ability to read and interpret measuring tools in various formats (metric, fractional, decimal).
- Must possess personal hand tools.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Must successfully complete a physical examination.
