Part-Time Weekend Speech Pathologist for Patient Care

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Weekend Speech Pathologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will evaluate and rehabilitate patients with communication and swallowing disorders, ensuring high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences.
About the Role:
- Evaluate and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders
- Implement evidence-based speech-language pathology interventions, re-assessing patient status and altering treatment goals as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Promote individual professional growth and development through continuing education and skills competency
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited university-based program
- Current license to practice Speech/Language Pathology by the State Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology for Texas
- Preferred: Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Basic Life Support certification
