Job Overview

At Isaiah House, we are seeking a highly motivated Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in assisting clients with their recovery needs daily through the sharing of emotional support.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating groups and meeting with clients in an individual setting very frequently. They will also be required to complete a ROI with each client to access the entire clinical chart. Additionally, they must successfully complete, maintain, and submit a minimum of six hours of related training or education in each subsequent year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all applicable regulations, including 908 KAR 2:220. Adult Peer Support Specialist.
  • Provide peer support services in an individual and group setting.
  • Use relevant personal stories to assist clients through experience.
  • Serve as a role model to the client.
  • Encourage client voice and choice during development and implementation of plans.
Requirements
  • Be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Have a current or past diagnosis of a mental health, substance use, or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Have received or be receiving treatment.
  • Have a minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or General Equivalence Diploma (GED) certificate.
  • Demonstrate a pattern of recovery from mental health, substance use, or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder.
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $40,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
