About the Job:

We are looking for a skilled Technical Designer to manage our product lifecycle, from sketches to pre-production. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that each garment meets our high standards for fit, construction, and quality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain tech packs for products.
  • Collaborate with design teams to update measurements and specifications.
  • Evaluate samples for spec, pattern shape, and construction.
  • Ensure timely completion of pre-production stages, meeting deadlines.
  • Resolve issues with garment construction and production in collaboration with overseas offices and vendors.
  • Schedule and conduct fit sessions, evaluating garment requirements.
  • Communicate detailed fit comments and corrections to vendors.
  • Maintain a log of incoming samples and measurements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical design or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of apparel fitting, specs, and pattern work/corrections.
  • Proficiency in PLM, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel.
  • Experience in childrenswear and dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
