Job Overview:


The Mixologist is tasked with crafting food and beverage selections, serving drinks and meals to guests in accordance with state and federal age regulations, and managing the activities within the lounge/bar area.


Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Minimum of three to six months of relevant experience; or a suitable combination of training and experience.

Must possess Alcohol Awareness Certification in compliance with State regulations.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language is required.


Ability to identify and address issues promptly; capable of developing alternative solutions and exercising reason even in emotionally charged situations.


Skilled in managing challenging or emotional customer interactions; must respond swiftly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.


Exhibits a high level of professionalism; treats all individuals with respect and consideration, regardless of their status or position.

Knowledgeable in interpreting and adhering to policies and procedures.


Familiar with safety and security protocols; reports potentially hazardous conditions and utilizes equipment and materials appropriately.


Ability to articulate and convey ideas and information clearly and concisely, whether orally or in writing, tailored to the audience.

Capable of fulfilling work schedule demands, including punctuality. May occasionally require flexibility to work outside of standard hours. Schedules may vary based on operational needs.

Primary Duties:
Verifies customer identification to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol purchases.

Delivers menu information, addresses inquiries, and processes food and beverage orders from guests and/or serving staff.

Prepares drink orders, including wine, spirits, and beer.

Prepares appetizers and food items following established recipes and standards.

Monitors seating in the lounge/bar area to ensure all guests receive timely service.

Calculates bills and processes payments; maintains and balances sales receipts.


Aims to mitigate issues and liabilities associated with excessive drinking by implementing measures such as ceasing alcohol service and informing management of potential concerns.

Cleans bar areas, workstations, and tables, as well as glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.


Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and lounge station; ensures the kitchen and bar are stocked and tidy at the end of each shift.

Plans, organizes, and oversees the operations of the lounge/bar area.

Prepares fruit for drink garnishes.

Arranges bottles and glassware to create appealing displays.

Develops unique drink recipes.

Conducts weekly inventory of liquor, food supplies, and equipment; orders or requisitions supplies as necessary.

Ensures all temperature logs and waste logs are accurately maintained on a daily basis.

Receives and inspects foodstuffs and supplies to verify quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications.

Ensures proper reporting of tips for tax purposes.

Performs other duties as assigned.
