Key Responsibilities
  • Automation System Design and Development: Design, develop, and install automation and control systems for industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Programming and Logic Development: Create logic and programming for PLCs, drive systems, and combustion control systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • SCADA and Operator Interface Development: Design SCADA and operator interface applications for seamless system monitoring and control.
  • Database and Computer Program Development: Develop databases and custom computer programs for PLC and SCADA interfaces to facilitate data management and analysis.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components using standard procedures, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
  • Project Documentation and Planning: Prepare project manuals and electrical schematics using CAD software for documentation and planning purposes.
  • Project Feasibility and Budgeting: Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and budgets for electrical systems to ensure project feasibility and success.
  • Expertise and Training: Acquire in-depth knowledge of SCR systems, including fluid systems, metallurgy, and maintenance, to provide expert assistance and training to customers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 9 years' experience in chemical or manufacturing industries, with expertise in industrial processing equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC and drive systems, CAD experience with AutoCAD, experience with SCADA systems, HMI applications, computer programming, networking, and database management.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, communicate effectively, and willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of chemical or manufacturing industries, including industrial processing equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Technical Certifications: Relevant technical certifications, such as PLC programming or SCADA system design.
