This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop essential skills in construction engineering. You will assist the project team in completing designated projects, gaining a comprehensive understanding of construction industry processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the project team to complete designated projects, focusing on learning construction industry processes and procedures.
  • Develop a solid understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
  • Gain practical experience in job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety protocols.

Essential Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Construction Engineering/Management or a closely-related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural drawings.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week and maintain a strong work ethic.

Compensation Details

The hourly wage for this position is $23.75, based on the national average for construction engineering interns. However, the hourly rate may vary depending on factors such as location and candidate qualifications.
