Job Title: Forklift Operator

At Kommissary, we are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production floor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to move pallets of food and other items around the production floor.
  • Adhere to Safety policies and procedures to promote a safe work environment.
  • Load and unload goods from production lines and trailers.
  • Check and ensure all loads are secure.
  • Provide materials to production workstations and place materials in correct storage areas.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections.
  • Identify damages, report shortages and quality deficiencies.
  • Keep updated records of inventory by complying with warehouse procedures and inventory control guidelines.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 50 lbs. occasionally).
  • Experience with working in ERP system with Scanners.
  • Clean driving record and valid state motor vehicle operator's license may be required.
  • Forklift certification per OSHA standards.
