Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
  • Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications.
  • Adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers to coordinate and prioritize procedures.
  • Rotate within departments and clinics to ensure proper coverage and maintain a high level of patient care.
  • Assist radiologists and other medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with Infection Control standards.
  • Accurately code and enter charges for procedures.
  • Adapt to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique needs.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to CHRISTUS Health's Core values.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferred.
  • Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current state licensure.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
Work Schedule and Type

PRN, Per Diem As Needed.
