Job Summary

The Janitorial Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of Maxx Fitness Clubs facilities. This position is responsible for ensuring the gym floor, locker rooms, and offices are clean and meet the expectations of members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including the gym floor, locker rooms, and offices.
  • Perform heavy and light cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Empty trash receptacles daily and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Change light bulbs as necessary and perform heavy cleaning of all bathrooms.
  • Dust and mop floors, and maintain and organize mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, and other equipment.
  • Pick up debris and mop rubber floor.
  • Report maintenance problems in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • At least three months of experience in cleaning or janitorial services and three months of customer service experience desired.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously as part of a team.
