Job Summary

The Janitorial Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our Maxx Fitness Clubs facilities. This position is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the club are clean, safe, and meet the expectations of our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the club, including the gym floor, locker rooms, and offices.
  • Perform heavy and light cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Empty trash receptacles daily and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Change light bulbs as necessary and perform heavy cleaning of all bathrooms.
  • Dust and polish all mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Maintain and organize all cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Report any maintenance problems or issues to the General Manager in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • At least three months of experience in cleaning or janitorial services and three months of customer service experience desired.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
