Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical fixtures, wiring, and lighting for all City buildings, gardens, signage, and outdoor venues managed by the Field Services Department.
  • Working under general supervision, you will be part of a team led by an Electrician III and report to the Chief Electrician.
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless maintenance and repair operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to electrical hazards. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
