Job Summary

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct EMS Instructor to join our Workforce Development Center team. As an Adjunct EMS Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in our Emergency Medical Services program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective instructional materials and lessons to students in our Emergency Medical Services program.
  • Provide clear and concise instruction to students, ensuring they meet the program's learning objectives.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students on their performance.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum changes.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current Ohio Certificate EMS Instructor certification.
  • At least 3 years of industry or business experience in the teaching subject area.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to act effectively as a member of a team.
  • Ability to interact successfully with academic as well as business and regulatory personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support Instructor and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor.
  • Five (5) years' industry or business applied experience in the teaching subject area.
  • Experience with on-line teaching and/or instruction in higher education.
  • Experience working with students from diverse academic backgrounds and life experiences.
