Imagine utilizing your cloud security proficiency to enhance one of the most significant software production environments within the Department of Defense. We require your assistance in crafting cloud-centric security frameworks for critical systems.

As a cloud security engineer on our team, your responsibilities will encompass the operation, protection, and oversight of cloud infrastructure. This includes system hardening, patch management, and vulnerability assessment. You will play a crucial role in interpreting and translating Department of Defense requirements from stakeholders to technical teams, ensuring that the solutions align with these requirements.

This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies as you seek innovative ways to secure your client's environment. You will refine your skills in automating security events, implementing cloud-based security solutions, and embracing zero-trust architecture while fostering confidence in vital infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Experience in Linux or Windows server management
  • Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • Ability to troubleshoot network and identity access management (IAM) permission challenges
  • Experience deploying identity or networking tools
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices
  • Understanding of AWS networking
  • Possession of a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Capability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform
  • Knowledge of enterprise-level security, including domains, DNS, group policy objects, or single sign-on
  • Understanding of firewalls, VPN solutions, and AWS IAM
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management
  • AWS Certification

Clearance Requirements:

Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
