Addiction Counselor

Providence House is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Addiction Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for implementing and operating a program of addiction services that align with our organization's mission and comply with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients for substance use history and document signs, symptoms, physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual implications, and treatment recommendations.
- Develop and execute treatment plans, coordinate care with other providers and insurance companies, and monitor patient adherence to treatment plans.
- Provide education and addiction group sessions, document timely and accurately patient assessments, evaluations, and therapy notes.
- Obtain releases of information and acknowledge CFR 42 laws when sharing recommendations with clients, family/guardians, and other care providers for feedback.
- Periodically measure the results of the programs and services against program goals and implement program adjustments as needed to enhance services.
Requirements
- Licensed Addiction Counselor with a strong background in substance abuse treatment and mental health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
