Job Summary:
Mercy Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team on a PRN basis, working night shifts. As a Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments within the hospital, including Emergency Department, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, Medical Surgical, and Medical Surgical- Adults & Peds.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple patients simultaneously.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and hospital policies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- 1-year of RN experience preferred.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- May require additional certifications based on the position/unit hired to or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
