Job Title: Physical Therapist

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Angels Camp, California.

Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses, improving their physical function and overall well-being. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using evidence-based practices and techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to identify physical limitations and develop treatment plans to address these limitations.
  • Conduct physical therapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and education, to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate patient discharge.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, using standardized measures and reporting tools.
  • Supervise and educate physical therapy assistants and students, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • 2+ years of experience in physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient or acute care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending and reaching.
