We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Pelican Bay State Prison. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and healthy environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a correctional healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
