Job Description

Job Title: Software Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Patton Labs Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java 8, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC, with experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Java 8 code using Spring Boot and Spring MVC
  • Work with the database team to design and implement database schema using MySQL Workbench and Hibernate Envers
  • Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate backend services with HTML5, CSS3, and REACT
  • Perform client-side validation using JavaScript and jQuery
  • Conduct and participate in Spring Grooming/Planning sessions
  • Assess and analyze previous sprints using Sprint Retrospective
  • Provide demos to stakeholders, product managers, development manager, VP, and QA team using Spring Demos
  • Attend Daily Sprint Meetings

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3 months of experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
  • Strong background in database design and implementation using MySQL Workbench and Hibernate Envers
  • Experience in front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, and REACT
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and Spring Data JPA
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Work Environment:

Relocation for short/long term projects to various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. is required.
