Job Summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced Seed Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including Seed Grower Customers in IL, IN, MO, OH, and IA
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and communicate this information to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to identify and pursue new business opportunities
Requirements
  • 2- or 4-year college degree preferred but not required
  • Ag background with 5+ years of recent Seed Sales or Seed DSM experience
  • Performance-driven with a strong focus on results
  • High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to mentor, train, and motivate others
  • Computer savvy and experienced with social media
  • Good driving record with ability to travel across sales territory
