Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients, administering medications and treatments, and observing patient conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide general nursing care to patients, including vital sign monitoring and health assessments
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques
- Observe patient conditions, record significant incidents, and notify supervisors or physicians as needed
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments and examinations
- May serve as a leader for a group of personnel rendering nursing care to multiple patients
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- A valid and current LPN license issued within the US
- A valid and current CPR card
- Experience in ER, Psychiatric, MS, or Clinic settings
- Proficiency in the English language for effective communication with staff and patients
