Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Luminis Health. As a key member of our patient-focused care team, you will contribute to the provision of high-quality, cost-effective healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient cardiac rhythms via telemetry monitoring systems and document observations.
  • Differentiate irregular rhythms from regular rhythms and premature beats from escape beats.
  • Notify RN of rate and rhythmic changes following established criteria and guidelines.
  • Calculate heart rate, measure cardiac cycle intervals (PR, QRS, QT), and interpret rhythm.
  • Maintain telemetry equipment and supplies, including changing batteries and telemetry pouches as needed.
Requirements
  • Must successfully complete cardiac rhythm interpretation exam.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Providers BLS certification.
Working Conditions

This role requires medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
