Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian Substitute to join our team at Peoria Public Schools. As a Custodian Substitute, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of classrooms, hallways, and other school areas
  • Perform custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed
  • Assist with special events and projects as required
Requirements
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Pass a pre-employment physical, TB test, and drug/alcohol screening
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

Hours will fluctuate based on need. This is a temporary position with no benefits.
