Job Title: Custodian Substitute

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian Substitute to join our team at Peoria Public Schools. As a Custodian Substitute, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Perform custodial duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical, TB test, and drug/alcohol screening.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time, on-call position. Hours will fluctuate based on need. There are no benefits associated with this position.
