Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Tech will provide high-quality imaging services to assist in diagnosis and treatment. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques to produce high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
  • Provide patient care, including positioning, transferring, and maintaining patient safety.
  • Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Ultrasound training program or equivalent training as specified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Current ARDMS registered certification with RDMS designation and/or current ARRT registered certification Sonography with RT (S) designation.
  • One to three years of experience in ultrasound imaging, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
