The Wyndmoor Assisted Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who possesses a genuine compassion for seniors and a strong desire to provide exceptional care. This role requires a proactive individual who is enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and communicate any changes in residents' health status to the supervising nurse.
- Support residents with their geriatric care requirements.
- Assist residents in performing daily living activities as outlined in their personalized care plans.
- Observe residents closely and report any alterations in their physical, mental, or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
- Engage with residents and their families in a professional and respectful manner.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
- No findings in the registry related to abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
- Ability to build strong relationships with residents and their families.
- Collaborative team player with a passion for elderly care.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment is advantageous, though not mandatory.
